TEDx Talk

I had the amazing opportunity to present at TEDx San Antonio 2012.  My topic was the importance of silence and the need to cultivate silence as a way to understand ourselves and each other.  (It’s not as intense as the screen shot makes it look!) I hope you enjoy it.

In 2016, TEDx San Antonio did a series of blog posts on former TEDx Speakers. I was chosen to be part of the series. Here’s a link to the post: http://tedxsanantonio.com/where-are-they-now-gage-paine/

  1. Thank you for this today! It was an amazing conversation that reminded me I need to listen before I quickly problem solve and come to a solution.

    1. I’m glad you found it helpful. Finding time for silence is incredibly helpful in so many ways and challenging every day! Good luck and thanks for the comment!

  2. Gage I am so glad that you have this posted here! I needed this reminder about silence today! I am always proud to say that I had the pleasure of being mentored by you at The University of Texas at San Antonio!

  3. Hi Gage. I wanted you to know that I have been participating in a blogging challenge – Blogging from A to Z Challenge for April 2015. For Wednesday April 22 the letter was “S” and I chose silence and I linked your TEDx presentation for my post. I still can listen this and I hear something new every time!! I hope all is well with you,

My blog is titled “What’s Rattling My Cage” and can be found at https://friedengl.wordpress.com/.
